It would appear that not only temperature but snow quality
have been inverted in the passes by the higher powers that be

I made similar obs. skittering from icy groomers to silky smooth down the high 2 resort's backside last week
To be honest, it would've qualified as a powder day back East

3.5/4 if you had the patience to get to the H.Trees sector - we waited for flowing to break trail but never saw him (though his truck was in the lot).

The Padded Sliver Express Chair allowed me to access terrain
with my lil girl that Alpental just can't offer. NTTIAWWT

the trees were pretty and the parking lot empty.
there was new snow but it really didn't matter.
the blue ice is still large and in charge, bigly firm.

3" this morning made things less slippery
but the 5" this afternoon made for one of the better night sessions in recent history
no crowds, only smiles on all the faces of every adult and kid

HAHA. Yes indeed the hardest part of today was timing the chairs. I started good then got lost. Got some good footage and with tomorrow's opening few runs should have enough to edit up a vid in honor of the bbi17. Let's ski a run if the timing works, but I am usually behind you. LOL

Central was fantastic. Around 18" off the groom and max 5 min chair wait all day. 3" on car 9-3:30 and snow was picking up as I was leaving.

After some delay, the padded seats delivered many to the goods today
