LongBoardDay turned out real nice. Everyone got down un-harmed after a full day on super straight skis. Soft snow conditions needed boarder grooming, stayed dry.

many moons ago, after a cinco far far out, a taco truck appeared in LoT4.
The Kindest gentlemen made dozens of burritos for folks as we straggled out of the b/c and back to reality. That was the coolest finish to any other Padded Seat closing that I have ever attended.

All snow from Sessel up and a fine mix below to the highway
with a light crowd and intermittent afternoon sunbreaks
made for a nicer day than expected, even without access beyond the gates

Absolutely crushed today. Great LoT4 gathering! Great to see all the regulars plus.
Congrats to Crispin for getting back on snow and getting his boots back. Skied around Silas and the rest of the pugetopolis powder techs today too. Absolutely crushed today.

Bigly sun. Bigly crowd. Bigly gathering of like-minded k00ks in Lot 4 & out-n-about. Got enough laps today to keep my whistle whetted until December. Firm start necessitated some hot laps on Sessel - unfortunately just as the corn blossomed so did the lines. 20-30 mins for chair 2, depending on your initial angle of attack - the annual snowball fight started in earnest at the bottom around 330 and kept going until quarter past 4 up top. Good company out the upper gate for one last lap w/ plenty of "scenery" on the descent to the bottom(s)

My PLEASURE. Got to keep the kids safe. The kids ski vision is skewed because of us. Both Q and G are used to going places that few ever see, period. Danger lurks in those places. But when you have been skiing those places since age 6, it seems normal and safe. It's not.

Love the kids. Have a great spring and summer. Yesterday was AWESOME!!!
