Chilly up there today but good news is the hot Spaghetti feed is at Alpental this coming Saturday @ 6pm! Benefits the patrol who keep you safe, OK I'm biased, but head up anyways. Feed your cascade traverse bashing grom as much as they can eat for $4, $8 adults, screaming deal.

felt like a repeat with 90% less humans. gremlin in debbie's motor electric drive shafty thingamujig required patience for any 9:00 opener but Sessel was really the spot to be for first chair, it appeared.
chairs eventually loaded and day 2 of 19BBI was A go.

was good times spinning laps and also playing on slope with my kids.
nice riding a chair with haggis, also watching him chase A kid around
just enough new to make it look nice and the chalky stuff skis mediocre

Great to ride with the successful BBI19 legend on the padded seats. Should have read this page a bit more carefully before taking kids down E shaft as it was missing some sections midway down which made for sporty descents for all. Nobody lost a leg so it was deemed a success. Fun day.

phace book probably has the long version prepared for mass consumption so i'll just stick to the mediocre report of the day. thanks to Etta's girl handler and apparently a superb route finder with the flattest high T i can remember. shout out to bonespurs for not starting a war this past week. sure helped to have world peace and a winning BBI while we're in this state of emergency. didn't notice any groomers did see the shark fins on l'International.
tried to do my share and grind down those obstacles.

don't think the viz has ever been so poor in Nash
cloud moseyed away but then it went to sleetyish
goggle fuckin shit that eventually turned to snow
plenty of clean turns because we kept it pretty slow

Mountain skied great on Sunday. Was shocked to find, two days after a storm and a busy Saturday, that things like Powder Bowl/Rollen/Gunmount delivered untracked turns until I decided to head out Nash. From there it was playing skiers right under the Clever into the trees, then helpings of Sunshine and Hummox, with deep, soft untracked lines mixed in until closing bell. What a fun mountain you guys have!
