Snoqalmie Pass Area - Tour Suggestions?

We will be heading to snoqalmie pass for the first time. Can anyone suggest some good tours, especially if one has been in the area recently. It seems like there is some precip heading in. Hopefully temps stay cool enough. Where was the freeze line during the past few weeks of the Jan thaw. We have been touring in the ID selkirks during the thaw and noted knife hard ice layers as thick as 30cm.

I have been looking at red or chair...up for any suggestions...

I live on Snoqualmie Pass. Lots of holes opened up by creeks and heavy rain. Right now the snow is pretty hard from the freeze and snow levels Fri/Sat are suppose to be around 4,500'.

If you plan to do anything around Hyak there is a good chance this will be opening weekend so there will be lots of patrol and folks around, not a good weekend to hike there, but they may delay another week too...who knows?

Ya ive been wondering if maybe this is going to be a good weekend to leave the gear at home:( We only have Saturday, as we have to spend all day Sunday in Seattle.

Any other suggestions, we are coming from Spokane and could use stevens or white pass also...
