See chapter three - personalizing the hazard (such as done in the 12 More Turns movie) is a really compelling and attention-getting presentation of the information.

Lots to read here, pretty much a free book.

Much of what the CAC is doing is very cutting edge in avalanche education/forecasting. I am sure it will ripple through US education as well in the near future.

I'd recommend philosophically that folks understand the concepts of both the ATES and the Avaluator. It's like a little finer tuned version of the Munter method.
