telemark teacher- baker area? was created by j_durham
Hello, I am new to the Bellingham area and looking for some advice as to what is the best way to learn to telemark. I have been on cross country skis since I was a wee one but this is the first season I have skis with metal edges and side cut paired with plastic bots (T3s). Eventually I will take classes etc so I can explore the back country but for now I would like to feel more comfortable with my turns. I have read several books but figure I may be better off with a teacher before I develop anymore bad habits. Any suggestions for a teacher in the Bellingham area?

Thanks,

Jon

Try contacting this guy -- he is one of the best tele instructor. He works at Stevens -- but he will know of any instructors that are working out of Baker.

Steve Hindman
Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
