Weather Forecasting: November 11 & 18 or November 12 & 19<br>No longer do your recreational plans need to be held hostage by vague local media weather forecasts or weather uncertainty on your part. Now you can use the Internet to make your own weather forecasts. This course will show you how use the Internet to forecast the weather both locally or at sites anywhere in the world. You will find that you can (a) Forecast the weather many days in advance (b) Forecast clouds, precipitation, temperature, and winds; both locally and worldwide. Presented by Bryan Scott (Ph.D. Atmospheric Sciences), an avid backcountry skier, and frequent weather forecasting source for his friends and acquaintances. The course will consist of two evening seminars lasting from 7:00-9:30 p.m. Advance signup required.
