12.26.19 - Summit West

Did several laps with the kid on Pacific Crest today. Okay sized crowd. Only had to wait once to get direct on the chair. Weather was in and out fog/sun.

Snow is pretty thin but well packed and frozen now. We choose to arrive a little late in hopes that the morning crowds would break up the frozen grooming. That worked fine. We found lots of sugar snow on the sides of the runs and worked those for awhile. Eventually we reached our goal for the day and headed home. Might try a solo effort mañana.

Lots of people parking at the curve on the Alpental road. Be careful when you go through, they aren't parallel parking and people are wandering around in the road.
