On our way north we needed more perfect spring snow. The lift opening was now at 8am to start the day with firm snow in the shaded or north facing areas and perfect spring snow in the east and south side areas. We started at 8am and stopped at 11am when it got slushy. Some folks were just starting the ski day as we left, but they were using wide skis and surfing the areas which looked good. We're going to miss these days with spring conditions.
