The ultra late report as it's a "got the last day of good weather" rather than what to expect tomorrow report. I took a slow start and still skied an hour of hard icy groomers. Finally softened at 10:30 (Iceberg and Lucky Sh@#t went earlier - boring...) and it was game on. Gully and Sunnyside softened just after a surprise Iceberg far right under The Plunge won early honors. Valley was doable but took till noon to fully soften. In the meantime, T2Bs via Sluiceway, B-Patch, and the hoot of the day Lower E. But, run-of-the-day was Upper Bull to Lower Bull Run. There was a pretty good crowd in the Lodge eating lunch and on LS and Iceberg - no lines. Counted about 4 people on the off-piste runs I did (other than the skimo race - some awesome uphill athletes willing to ski some terrible snow on weird equipment. Looking at their faces, they weren't having a lot of fun). At noon, the puffy clouds blocked the sun and the temps dropped as the upper Frontside went fully too soft. Odd having Too Soft and Re-Crunch happening at the same time. Excellent day, may be the last for a while as it will be nasty without full-on sun.
