We skied here years ago on powder days. Today was a sunny day so you could see where you were skiing and the great views. They are usually closed on Mondays, but were open because today is a holiday. We purchased a 2-hour pass for $30 each. It was a sunny and cold day with left over powder. The base is at 5,120" with the 4-seat Accelerator lift that gets you to 6,666'. Wonderful view of Diamond Peak and Odell Lake. We made a few runs off Twilight lift with nice tree lined trails. These 2 lifts are south facing. North facing trails are off the Peak 2 lift with a base of 5813' and a summit of 6683' with a view of Waldo Lake in the distance. The elevation is short, but the runs are north facing and provide nice powder and steep lines. The trail map shows proposed trails in the treed areas "in the future". That is where the locals go after the resort lines are skied out. Low-key area with a nice feeling.

Beautiful. I've heard about the view but only been when it was puking snow. Love the terrain down there.
