Another groomer only day. We had high hopes for sun softening on the backside but that just didn't happen. The groomers on Jupiter did soften just a little bit and the same can be set for Kehrs chair. Everything stayed pretty firm for the most part. There was good grooming, with a few new areas especially underneath Skyline. A lot of the runs have been ground up enough to have a good coating of sugar snow. In some areas it is uniform enough to make for good skiing. Other areas have scraped off patches and piles so you have to pick and choose your turns.
The visibility wasn't bad. It was about a 40-60 day with sun versus overcast. The light was a bit flat at times.
Not much of a crowd just a few walk up lines.
2/3 day
I'm getting really bored with all this groomer skiing, but it beats sitting home.

Fine report. Such are the days when you practice carving, gain leg strength, and get ready for the good stuff....Same type of day in Whistler - but a bit softer as it hasn't had all the warming.
