1/26/19 Whistler Perfect on Piste

Got on Creekside Gondo at 8:10 and it was fast, uncrowded and perfect all day. Hit 22,000' Vert around 11 and then eased off. Soft packed and great groomers with great weather. Thin high clouds kept it cool enough. Was with a groomer friend so didn't hit any steeps, but they looked chalky. Backcountry powder was fried. (Maybe if someone found something steep and north facing - but that would be high avy danger). Skied every chair at Whistler except Fitzimmons and Olympic. Alpine opened very early, and the run of the day was Peak to Creek, having been freshly groomed. Symphony and Harmony were beautiful as well.
