January 21, 2018 Summit Central

The day started with the fresh snow arriving before the Silver Fir started. The temperature was below freezing and treeing along the tree lines was very nice. The first 90 minutes was a singles morning. The upcoming forecast looks good until the warm front arrives/maybe. Hoping the new front fills the holes at Central and East and the crossover trail Central to East. Winter is hear.

I wouldn't mind seeing us get enough snow to fill in Snoqualmie area funky terrain features sometime soon.

I don't miss the Powder Pigs one bit.

Also the current amount of coverage is just sufficient and provides entertaining spectacles like watching Ski Patrol try to free a snowmobile from a creek
