3 out of 5 Star day but not the powder you are getting in Washington State. 3 Stars because it's good top to bottom skiing, good visibility, soft enough snow, and zero crowds. The 2 Stars missing are because the backside of every bump is icy, enterances that have been skied a lot are hard. And the bit of powder in the alpine is mixed with occasional rocks on ridgelines, icy patches, and other low snow hazards. It's not "low snow" really, but it's not filled in as much as I'd like by now. I didn't ski trees today, so I'll comment later. Since we didn't get forecasted snow last night and today, It would only be fair to get it now to help out the coming weekend.
