Alpental 2/7

Very nice quality snow, no news to most I'm sure. Arrived 1:45 to upper chair and not a great site, > 15min lift line. Had 4 more trips up before 3:30 shutdown (Extended passed 3pm, THANKS Alpental!), line a bit shorter each time. They opened Snake Dance mid day and it was most memorable, 2 runs down it and Upper Nash to it VERY good too. Other two runs were back down under chair then Rollens and Airplane and also a treat. Biggest letdown was just all bumped up in main Armstrong run but to be expected with the volumes of skiers on it leading up to our 4pm onward runs. Found it best along sides of run and into trees. Dear weather gods - Divert this rain coming later tomorrow to the south PLEASE!
