It was not sunny but it was overcast. Yes, it was COLD  but the wind at the top of Silver Fir was strong.  Coming from the east the top half of Outback had wind blown coverage.  All the groomed runs were in nice shape.  If you stop near some trees the wind was blowing some “bombs” .  The area was very quiet.  I skiied the terrain park and the groomers were great.  I met with Robie and Tom a “tele” guy. I was on the groomers and they would ski some batches of powder along the edges. Around noon, it was time to warm the body and head home and the Robie folks took a break for lunch. It is only mid December and we are enjoying packed powder and getting our legs ready for the weekend powder storm, hopefully.

We did 4 more after lunch, no more margin powder left so we retreated to a warm car ride home. nice skiing with you as always.
