Blackcomb Thursday 3rd of March

Insanely good. Don't want to make anyone feel bad but it is superb up here. Had the pleasure of floating around with avajane (Brian) and learning some sick lines. After so many solo days this year it was great to get stoked with someone and watch him fly through untracked pow all day. Sapphire Bowl down to Blackcomb Glacier was the winner, so smooth, long, hardly visited, and steep. Although our first lap through the viz was so bad that going very slowly suddenly Brian is falling and yelling into who knows what. Luckily his 15 foot fall over a rock band was cushioned by deep soft snow and not an ice bulge, rock, or creavsse.
Snow quality is perfect up high.

Been snowing everyday for as long as I can remember! And the forecast just keeps calling for it. Perhaps the only thing better than being taken around by a local, is having an excellent, enthusiastic skier to ski with who's up for anything all day long. Glad my landing was soft.
