Great day as it was snowing in the valley first thing and despite the forecast, the snow continued all day. Started of with 8 laps of Symphony with every turn a powder turn. First thing there was a crust from yesterday's warming, but that pretty much went away and got covered up. I'm sure the crust was still there on the steeps. Took a long lunch and came back out to all the Alpine lifts closed
Due to high winds. No problem!!! Club 21 in the trees was open (good for the first time in 2 years) and Seppo's had huge powder bumps just waiting to have the tops blasted off them. The troughs might have been icy here and there, but there was so much build up on the tops and ridges it was clear where to ski. Had late afternoon beer at Seppo's and skied fresh groomer tracks down. The Dave Murry Downhill was a big wild bump run with good snow on all the steep pitches. Fallaway was the best it's been in a while.

Still snowing hard to the valley so when the top opens up late morning tomorrow it will be "off the hook"! Will ditch the wife and ski with a TAY creature if he gets back to me.
