Think fat skis in order to float above the crust/sogginess below today's new snow. Upper snowpack below today's new was soggy below 4k, perhaps less-so above 4k.

otherwise it is the same lil gem you skied in the 70's.

Forget weekends, I don't even bother. I could almost skin up 2000 feet quicker than I would getting up the lift if you include all the waiting time in lifts lines. lol
Meh, depends on what's going on with the weather.
And, there is a completely different group of people (more casual) on the hill.
Saturday was ski right on to the lift every run.
