Our drive from Crested Butte to Brighton was 430 miles; a long drive after our fun powder day. Brighton had received a few inches the day before and our plan was to ski packed powder. The snow pack is smaller then at our visit a week and half ago, but the packed powder was great. We got our free tickets (because of our Snoqualmie Gold passes) in the Seasons Pass Office where they put “Jack & Jill” on our tickets. Cute! They remembered us from our visit last week.  All their express lifts - Milly, Crest, Snake Creek and Great Western were running and were deserted.  It was just plain old good time skiing in the sun with packed powder. We saw two different groups traversing across and skinning up from the top of the Milly Express lift. The access from the top of Milly goes towards Solitude and the chutes and ridges. The access was roped but is open when “safe”.  Most times the ski lines go to the reservoir and exit out.  When we drove down after skiing we saw more cabins that are hidden by the snow banks  in a normal snow year, but we didn't see the moose...
