Not receiving any replies to this morning's post for partners, I went on my own to Crystal today. Icy surfaces, present especially on southern aspects when I first arrived, gradually became submerged under an increasing depth of powder; turns became more pleasant by the hour. Clouds and snow squalls ruled the day. The flat light added a degree of difficulty to the steeper runs. Sun broke through only once, for about 20 minutes, which I was able to use to my advantage. Crowds were nonexistent.<br> <br>If this precip keeps up as is predicted, snow conditions will only get better.
