Is skiing in September a sign of making the season last longer or being an optimist for what's to come...that was the question pondered on the trail up to the lower climbing camp. I think we scared some folks from Alpine Ascents with our ski gear, got in 1,000 feet of skiing on sun cups that were a little stiffer than we thought...however it was great fun! We ran into three other groups with skiiers including a father/son team overnighting it.
