A motley crew consisting of Stefan (sag) Jerry (JW)  Jeanette (MadDog) and yours truly showed up at Paradise on Sunday, all hoping for improving weather.  Hoping for skiable snow we packed up and wandered off in a general uphill direction swiching to skis almost immedately on a foot to two of snow coverage.  We pressed on, thinking we knew what we were doing as the weather continued to deterioriate.  About an hour short of our intended destination we chose to turn around (the fun meter was starting to sag  ;) ) so we reversed direction, which, of course reversed the weather trend as well.  Mostly exercise and great folks with a turn here and there on the rock boards.
Here's a shot of sag on the way back to give you an idea of the coverage:

Pray for snow.
It was a tough tour, but we did EARN the few turns that we got.  All in all we were able to keep our streak alive  ;D  8)  All in all it was a pretty good day.

Woulda been better if I actually had rock boards! 8) Good exercise . Hey my thermometer just dropped below 60 , there may be hope !

Great photo, Ron!

It sounds like at least the N. Cascades should get a little snow tomorrow, at decent FLs (6" total in forecast right now, FL 3K)

Wonder what has happened to that predicted snow accumulation and lower freezing levels  ???  ???

Good thing several of us earned our turns last weekend  8)

Maybe we'll get more this week.
Cross your fingers and pray for snow!!  ;)
