Hit the Slot this morning. SWEET Knee-Deep April Powder!! Phantom was a little mushy and the waterfall is rocky. Thanks to the two ahead of us... nice skin track. Plenty of powder!!

How long did the round trip take? Any fresh snow Tuesday night?
Did the sunny warm weather make it up to Snoqualmie Pass today?
I did a round trip to the top of Alpental on Tuesday morning before work and there was about an inch of dry snow on top of firm crust. Temps were in the mid to low 20s at 6:15am Tuesday.
I was thinking of another lap Thursday am.

2.5hrs to the Slot (including some binding fumbling time-sorry Einar). Snowed about 2-4in from 7:30-9:30. Sun was in and out on the way up. Slot was choice Spring Powder... 6 tracks down it now. Phantom was typical heavy smoo by noon so get out early!! Crooked was untracked as of yesterday.

Thanks for the tip, powdrx - the Slot was Hot today. Totally filled in, the face shots were so great I had to do it twice.
