4 inches of fairly heavy wet new snow today on a hard crust on W, S, E slopes. Generally stable, under peekaboo sun, breezy snow showers and clouds day. Thanks to the group of 4 or 5 for a nice skin track!
An avalanche stopped traffic westbound on I-90 in early afternoon. It was a good day to be in sight of the freeway so we could delay final descent until it was starting to move again.
