Hurricane Hill 3, 22 08

I spent a casual day out at Hurricane Hill exploring terrain. I followed the well worn path out to the top of the hill. The sun exposed slopes had a slight crust, not enough to inhibit turns, but enough to make one appreciate just how good the protected slopes were. I wasn't sure on how much time the tour would take but in hindsight the North side of the hill probably would have had some great skiing. Instead I made my way about half of the distance back to the lodge and took turns down what I think is referred to as the toilet bowl area. Great snow, beautiful day, friendly people - I love the olympics.
