March 15th, Powder Mountain UT

6 inches of new Wasatch goodies provided for a fun day at the PowMow. Arrived to 20 degrees and scorching blue skies. Snow was " a little heavy" according to the locals, but after infoming them I ski in Washington and explaining that this snow was not heavy they felt better about it. Lapped the slackcountry for 3 runs, mass faceshots and permagrins. Decided to drop the 10 bucks on the snowcat and got a ride out to the BC where I skinned up James Peak and ridge ran to some chutes that I had been eyeing ever since coming here the first time. Had my window of freshies and blubird and had a beautiful 1500 vf. chute to the lonesome, where my tracks remained unaccompanied all day (and probably will for the rest of the week). Should have gone to Alta with their 16 new, but its a drive and had a few too many last night to muster it up. Headed to Snowbasin tomorrow....anyone have some advice on goods there?
