Too warm and wet in the eastern Alps these days, but we managed to find some powder today. Only bluebird day so far. Jennie had a blister from yesterday so we sent her up the lifts for the first 1200´. From 8000´up to the top at 9500´ was 6-8 inches of good Cascade powder, good enough to repeat. There were even snowboarders on snowshoes causing consternation with the randonneurs. No teleskiers however. My Patagonia pal Wolfgang at 74 is skiing better with his two titanium hips than he was before!
Yowza - you're going so fast in the third pic that there's a cloud cavitating out of the air behind your head!

Good eye, Russ. Jennie is on the light skis, I will use them when she leaves, in my sad effort to keep up with the Austrians.
