Third year in a row to the Asulkan Cabin.  This year we finally got the conditions you dream about - light, stable powder and cold, blue-bird skies.  Throw in the eclipse and some steep descents and you have the perfect ski trip.

Our group found a lot of good skiing last week, but one of the highlights (for me) was a descent of the Forever Young Couloir.  This is a beautiful slot coming down from the summit ridge of Young's Peak.  Young's Peak is probably best know for being the start of the "Seven Steps of Paradise" run above the Asulkan Cabin.  To get to the Couloir you traverse the summit ridge above the "Seven Steps" and drop down a few hundred feet until you come to the entrance of this fantastic gash in the ridge.  It is a beautiful place.  I had my helmet cam rolling during the descent and thought I'd share.  Enjoy.

Very spectacular helmet cam footage. You would be " forever young" if you fell down that .
