Ben and I skied the West Face of Red Mountain on a bright, clear, bluebird day. A freeway of ski and snowshoe tracks led up Commonwealth Basin to the bottom of the face.
3 1/2 hours up (we moved a bit slowly that morning), a half hour in the sun on top and one hour back to the car.
Lots of different conditions going up and coming down and out, with two-foot deep mashed potatoes being the most challenging.
Lots of fun on a spring-like Cascade day.

Nice chatting with you guys. Were you on the Baker Lights or MX:11's?
He was on the BakerSLs, I was on the euro-noodles.
GregL, Were you on the Kailasssss or the Trabs?
Thanks for the track on that upper section, even if it was 15 degrees steeper then I would have set. ::) You guys are animals! :D

That was me on the Trabs, Kevin on the Atomics . . . the top went well, after we figured out we should have put on the ski crampons at the BOTTOM!
Great to meet you both.
