Quick trip to check out conditions. Skied down the Iron Horse to where an Avalanche covered the trail and made a steep sidehill down to lake at site of old snow shed. There was about 2" of fluff on a thin but hard crust, below that close to a foot of pretty rotten snow. Started raining about 1PM heavy fog at pass.
