Got out for a few laps at Yodelin yesterday. Things had settled considerably and it was a lot easier to break trail than I was expecting. The snow was really great. Cold boot top powder from the most recent storm cycle - if you stepped out of your skis you'd sink up to your waist but it was easy to stay on top while skiing.

We did a quick CT on a 35deg slope facing NNW (forgot to take a bearing) in a spot that was getting some wind loading and we found CT29Q1 at about 35cm down. A second CT gave us CT9Q1 at about 10cm, which was interesting. But nothing on top seemed to move, even on steeper rolls where we ski cut - of course the terrain was pretty mild, but it was good to get a sense of what was going on.

Unfortunately, I think our uptrack has been buried by now. We were lucky to find it on the third lap in a couple spots as it was snowing hard by then. But what great snow!
