Deep beyond belief ! Gate opened at 10 am  Lucky for us some snow shoers had been up the day before and had set us a nice uptrack. Not quite the way we would have done and slightly off our inteneded goal but Thanks just the same. We made four runs to the south ending up in what we call the Tiolet Bowl.Coveniently the tiolet bowl is well filled in allowing a crossing back to our uptrack. Snow was 16" of unconsolidated powder over  over a soft crust of some sort and then thickining consistency down to who knows how deep ? No slabbing no side loading of gulleys no, action other than sluffing except for this funny accumalation of powder at ones chest. the shorter members of our party could have used nose plugs. For those that know these slopes our goal was to find enough pitch to get rollling but not enough for trouble. Most of the time we were in or around trees both for security and visibility. We were 6 and there were two other skiers and that' all for all Paradise. Gotta say, there's a track set and the road is clear for tomorrow. Oh I forgot We skied out the tiolet bowl a first time ever! It skied  like Devils Dip or the "Ditch". No pictures too busy skiing!
