2-1-07 Mt. Baker, Deep Powder Skiing
« on: 01/31/08, 12:16 AM »

Hello. I'm a carless student at WWU that has friday's off! I can't find any rides on this day though. It looks like this friday is going to have some good powder skiing. I also have backcountry gear, I'd love to go ski hemi, or tour around on fridays with anyone.

I'll help on gas

I like classic rock, folk, indie bands for music.
I'm also really into photography, so by the end of the day you will be a ski super hero.

Not judging any of your credentials or otherwise, but you should look carefully at plans for tomorrow.  How many trip reports do you see from the area on this site for the last few days - none for good reason.  The avalanche danger is stupid right now and even if you did go out it would be a wallow fest where you would need boats on each foot to stay afloat.  There is too much good stuff inbounds right now to require straying from the resorts.

Stay safe...
