Skinned up to the base of Chair Peak and skied down to Snow Lake today.
The snow was wind effected with ice, hard slab, and soft wind deposited snow.
A party skiing in front of us set of a wind slab the broke about 100 feet across and a foot deep.
Fortunately they were not caught in it. Smiley
Later while touring out of the lake basin I set of another wind slab that was about 1 to 2 feet deep and about 15 feet across.  I was able to dig my edges in and let in slide past me. Cheesy
We decided to tour back up towards Chair Peak to get some of that nice pow we saw on the way up.  The best turns of the day!
