The view last Sunday from Goat Island Mtn east to Banshee Pk and the Sarvant Glacier(1st pic)  and the north facing aspect of the huge Sarvant Bowls on the map made for an obvious trip back.  Passed up the Tamanos Chutes this time, as they were still in the fog, and turned the corner past them and up the Wright Crk Valley.  Few inches of new on top of bomber crust made for quick travel up to the basin.  4-6" of new on firm, but not icey, all the way up the Sarvant made for both good travel and fun, fast riding down.  Came around from the south to summit Banshee and a short ride on pretty hard south facing crust back to the saddle.  Did one 2000' run down the glacier, then back up part way to a steep knob for a really fun second run and the thankfully short, cookie-killer run through the trees to the bottom at Fryingpan Crk.  5230' day with some breaks in the clouds at the top and snow off and on all day.
Once again Boot that is a heck of a day of touring.
Pretty impressive haul for the amount of daylight available this time of year.
That must have been impressive to look down, from the top of that ridge down the valley.
Good job,
Joe

Thanks Joe.  The Sarvant Gl and bowls were huge, but blew our minds when we came over the saddle and looked across to Cowlitz Divide and down into Ohanapecosh.  Place goes on and on  :).  We're suffering from "exponentiality"; every trip leads to views of several new ones to be done.
