Pleasant ramble meandering into the NW shoulder of Joffre in the Duffy area. Just poked my head into alpine to see what was going on. Conditions stable. Went into alpine briefly but best skiing was below treeline - good snow and old growth forest skiing

looks like a fun trip - how do you like the garmin canadian mapset on the GPS? Is the 1:100,000k series good enough for anything? I have the 24k series for the us parks (which is fantastic), but those candians need better topos!

I don't know what the scale is - I would guess better then 1:50,000 and definitely not 1:100. The garmin mapset works well
