After yesterdays skitour I almost wanted to drive home straight. But I waited which paid out. The wind system brought fresh snow to the mountains so we opted for a more conservative area. I set out with 3 friends to the Gräfensspitze. The pace was more relaxed than the day before with quite a few breaks as the weather was good again. The view from the top was great and I could see into an area I was two years ago. The skiing down was great with about 30 cm of fresh snow on a holding crust. The terrain was not too steep but still fun to ski. On the way down we found an perfect iglu with an ski-in entrance. The skitour ended in a local Gasthaus by Radler (sprite+beer) and Wiener Schnitzel. It was a great day and I did not regret the late drive home all the way to North Germany.
