Chris, Liz, and I had an awesome time on Sunday at Stevens Pass. We found nice N-facing snow above 4000 that was pretty decent; not the 2 feet of cold powder we've all gotten used to, but the views, sun, atmosphere, and solitude made up for that.
Saw some old small crowns on windloaded pockets that were N-facing near ridges, and watched slides peel off steep sun exposed faces during the day. On the way out in the evening we saw a new crown that was a honker (a couple of hundred feet wide) on a steep south face that wasn't there in the morning.
Great views and fun, fun, fun...

Nice pics! And a sweet bluebird day to boot. Where at the pass were you.
Way a beautiful day...I was working so I couldn't venture around and had to stay with-in stevens pass proper...great photos!
