Had a great day around Kendall Peak today at Snoqualmie pass, even a little blue sky mixed in with soft snow.

Worked hard busting a trail towards the ridge, but luckily a group of 8? quickly came up behind us and where eager to help out.  Nice to meet all of you, from the hoots we heard it sounds like you had some fun as well.

We dropped one run through the trees where the snow was a bit heavy, then skinned up though of a glade and found great snow along the sides of the upper bowls.  The snow was well consolidated and well bonded to a slight rain crust about 36" down.  There are still a few ice boulders from the December climax slides poking through the open bowls.

Got back to the car by 3pm and it was snowing hard.

Good work getting out for it today!

Good to meet you Peter! Not quite Utah pow, but plenty of it.
