breaking trail was real work with all the snow accumulation. skied gunsight twice once from the bowl and once from the saddle as the chutes still need some more coverage. cold and snowed all day. two slides occured on both descents, but were limited to six inches of slough on each one and fracturing occured mainly over shallow covered rock bands and then slid onto the bowl which went pretty good and covered a lot of terrain. picking lines was very important so i would imagine its a bit like that all over.
