December 17, Hyak and Summit West

They were bombing this AM at alpental so we decided that the fun factor would be higher at West.  I hope it's not too morally wrong to use the terms "sick fresh" and "Summit West" together but I realy had a great time in the soft turns.  After a bit we went over to Hyak and had a nice little skin to the top and some really fun turns just as the sun came out.  Very soft and deepish turns and of course quite stable due to the combination of low angle, previous grooming, and a good bit of vegetation still around.  There were a couple of other groups out and everyone seemed to be having a good time.  I am really optimistic about this season.
