Great day in the Tatoosh with 18-20" on a hoar frost layer on a crust layer, so kept to lower angle or narrow, shortish chutes with great results; no slides and blowing pow (can you see Schu in second pic?) Got three runs in and out the gate just after 4:30 under light snow fall.
How do you like those minis for skinning?
There actually MSR shoes with tails on. I love them because they have bales on them, making it easy to go straight up and less switch-backing.
