Do you think it will be bulletproof frozen avi debris? This is what Jeff and I were thinking Friday night but decided to go out anyway because it was going to be a beautiful day in the mountains and we desperately needed to absorb some sun! It turned out to be a spectacular day with anywhere from 5-8" of bouncy fluff over a denser snow layer that was well bonded to the rain crust. As we made our way out to Ptarmigan Ridge the snow seemed to get deeper and better. Along the way we met lots of happy people! On the way back we climbed through the gap in the middle of Table mountain and met a group of 5 and a really cool dog. I recognized one in the group from my Emmons/Winthrop ski tour last July. Good to ski down with you folks and nice to meet you again Kirsten!
Nice Dave! Kirsten mentioned that she'd run into you out there. Small world. Thanks for the report.
Hey Dave & Jeff, fun run down from Table, eh? Glad the route we took through that cliff band panned out. So many posts from Baker, hope you don't mind me hijacking your thread to post some pics.

Great pictures Nate! It was a fun run and my skis thank you for navigating a good passage through the rocks. Marcus, it is indeed a small world, especially when all the good snow in Washington lands in one area. I suspect I'll be running into you folks again somewhere in the mountains. Hopefully with the snow knee deep and the mountain below us!
