This is a Bitch session. Boy, should I have gone north and met up with Mosetick or the Tayers at Whistler...
Went up Hood today. THought there might be some good powder still.
What there was from Silcox to 10k was windpacked, variable powder with spritzs of blue ice and breakable crust. Although there was powder, it wasnt too enjoyable because of its variable nature. THe best turns were with the crowds on palmer
I am glad I left my pons and axe at home as I was jonesin for the the summit despite the reported wind slab on old chute.
The coverage from timberline to silcox is super poor. It was much better Oct 22.

Mount Baker rocked!! There was a ton of blow downs on the trail but the snow and weather conditions were great all day. The ski down was a blast!! I will post my TR soon.
