Rachel Lake - 2 avalanches to report

I left the skis in the car since there appeared to be only a little bit of snow... boy was I wrong... There was almost two feet at 4600ft and a lot more up towards Rampart Ridge. We stopped just past the lake after hearing and seeing two small avalanches on the E/SE slopes around Rachel Lake (around 4700 to 4800ft)... Other then that I'm ready to put the skis on next week if it isn't all melted by then.
