October 21, 2007: Video of Pan Point: MRNP
« on: 10/21/07, 10:35 PM »

Met up with my buddy Chris and fellow Telemarker Lisa and her split-boardn' friend Jim.  Found droves of people itchn' to bust the gates open at Longmire when all of a sudden 10 or 15 tree huggin' Suby lovin snow crazies made a mad dash for their WRX's and the race was on!!!

We took our time and let the 500 people in front of us blaze a trail for us to Panorama Point above which we made several laps before descending back into breakable crust on Mazama.

All in all a great October powder day on Mt. Rainier.  Here's a link to more pictures:

and someday...soon...the real stash will be discovered.  I've cross referenced views of the glacier from the original "stash" post with my own innate knowledge of topo maps and mountain spirituality...i'm honing in on it as we speak... i will soon know all....i will soon ski all...
