Met up with grnmtnskier yesterday morning.  Hiked up to silcox hut, skinned up from there to the top of Palmer.  The snow was awesome, it was like springtime conditions after climbing.  Justin called it corn snow.  Blue-bird day.

I was able to try out my new dynafit setup.  It's  awesome.  I got the vertical ST bindings with atomic kailas skis, 174 long.  The skis and bindings are only 2 ounces heavier than my Karhu guides and 3 pin cable bindings.  Unreal.  I got the Zzero boots, which are about 7 ounces per boot heavier than my 2 buckle crispi boots.  They are a lot stiffer though and still comfortable on the way up.

We stopped skiing about 1/4 mile from the lodge so I wouldn't ruin my new skis.

I have a new personal best TAY record:  1 month...

Without the uncomfortable silence and hangover to boot!
