10/07/07 - Timberline, Mt. Hood

What??  Again???
Why not?  Picked up my friend Jamie and her dog Chetco in Hood River.
Met Corn Dog at Mt. Hood. Then along came Justin (Grnmountain). We all had dogs -- it was a zoo, a doggy zoo. They loved it!
Corn Dog led the way and we dutifully followed. The dogs ran amok once we let them off their leashes a ways past the lodge.
This trip was much better than last Sunday's. The snow wasn't near as sticky and much better coverage. No rain. Just lots of fun.
Met two more guys -- Steve and John, and briefly picked up a split boarder - Romero. What a fun group!
All of us (except Romero) went up to the lodge afterwards and had some hot cocoa and etc. Nice to get to know everybody.
Then we left. Jamie and I got in the car and were like, "holy crap, that was a fun group!!!"
My dogs actually snored during the 2.5 hour drive home. I started snoring too, but the honking of a Semi horn awakened me.  Just kiddin'.
Definitely fun.
